Hot air balloons (Textured print)

A vibrant scene depicts hot air balloons floating above a stylised landscape populated with figures, animals, and architectural elements. The composition layers multiple perspectives with exuberant detail throughout—from the patterned balloons and decorative ground features to the animated crowd below. Applied with textured surface variation, the work employs a densely saturated palette to create visual rhythm. Portchie’s characteristically joyful approach transforms an everyday subject into a participatory life experience for the viewer.
