Hoola Hoops (Textured print)

A vibrant scene of children at play in a rural setting, rendered with characteristic warmth and narrative detail. The composition depicts figures engaged with hoola hoops against a landscape dotted with flowers, a windmill, and domestic structures beneath a stylised sky. The artist employs bold colour and decorative patterning to create an atmosphere of innocent joy and community. Portchie’s practice extends across multiple mediums to offer viewers an experience beyond the visual—a connection rooted in the simple scenes of childhood play.
