Tropical garden

A densely layered composition of tropical flora rendered in vigorous acrylic, where bird-of-paradise flowers, blooms and foliage occupy the entire canvas in a rich interplay of warm and cool tones. The artist employs gestural brushwork and bold colour juxtaposition to create an immersive garden space, with oranges and yellows advancing against deeper blues and purples. Le Roux’s approach embodies her practice of using warm hues to convey passion and growth, whilst cooler tones suggest underlying harmony within the South African landscape.
