Tropical garden

A densely composed tropical garden rendered in bold, expressive brushwork. Layered foliage in vivid greens frames flowering blooms—deep reds, bright yellows, and electric blues—creating rhythmic visual movement across the canvas. The paint application is vigorous and gestural, with colours applied directly and without naturalistic restraint. Le Roux employs warm and cool hues to convey emotional intensity, drawing on her characteristically passionate approach to capturing the South African landscape’s diversity through colour.
