Harvesters

This dynamic composition depicts figures engaged in agricultural labour, their forms rendered in bold, gestural brushwork. Warm yellows and oranges animate the canvas alongside deep purples and blacks, creating a sense of movement and energy across the picture plane. The palette shifts between earthy tones and vivid accents, whilst the handling of paint emphasises activity rather than botanical detail. Niemann’s practice, rooted in daily discipline and close study of established artists, manifests here in the assured application of acrylic across stretched canvas.
