Elephant

A monumental elephant emerges through gestural brushwork and bold colour blocking, rendered in vibrant yellows, blues, and oranges that fragment across the canvas with expressive intensity. The composition captures the animal in dynamic tension, its form constructed through layers of acrylic that emphasise movement and psychological presence rather than anatomical precision. The interplay of warm and cool tones creates visual energy, whilst the simplified spatial treatment suggests a landscape compressed into abstraction. Mind Shana’s self-taught practice, developed since 2002, demonstrates his characteristic tenacity of stroke and vivid interpretation.
