Puppy love u/f

A simplified, affectionate rendering of a child and dog in close embrace dominates this composition. The figures are rendered in clean black lines and white fill against a brilliantly coloured background of hearts, stars and gestural marks in red, orange, yellow, blue and green. The print employs a graphic, economical vocabulary that emphasises the warmth of the connection between child and animal. Kuijers’ extensive background in graphic design and illustration informs this accessible, deliberately unpretentious approach.
