A stylised canine figure occupies the centre of this composition, rendered in simple black line work against a densely patterned background of interlocking chevrons in red, pink, purple and blue. The dog’s form is minimalist and somewhat melancholic in expression, creating an engaging tension with the vibrant geometric energy that surrounds it. Kuijers’ background in graphic design and illustration informs this considered balance between figurative simplicity and decorative complexity.
