Dream Catcher

A whimsical composition presenting a resting animal—rendered in rich brown tones—alongside two aircraft depicted in oval vignettes against a turquoise ground. The work playfully juxtaposes the grounded and the airborne, whilst a small circular form and handwritten text add a naïve, intimate quality. Kuijers brings his trained eye for graphic design and illustration to bear in this print, balancing composition and colour with characteristic wit.
