Crocodile tears

A stylised crocodile dominates this composition, its open mouth rendered in grey with prominent teeth and textured detail. The creature is surrounded by falling droplets—in blue, red, orange, purple and yellow—against a light wooden-grain background. The print employs a graphic clarity befitting its medium, balancing figuration with decorative patterning. Kuijers brings his background in illustration and graphic design to bear on this contemporary work.
