The linocut technique yields crisp, defined forms with bold linear clarity: individual petals and stems are incised with precision, whilst the restricted palette of warm florals contrasts sharply with cool shadow and deep background. The composition is intimate yet commanding, the flowers filling the modest rectangular format with botanical presence.
