A horizontally divided composition presents a landscape of agricultural life rendered in Munro’s characteristic expressionist vocabulary. The upper register, striped in cool blues and whites, suggests sky or atmospheric depth, whilst the lower section depicts verdant vegetation in luminous yellow-greens beneath an orange-red band. The painting employs bold, gestural brushwork with stark colour contrasts that convey both the tactile reality of farmland and an emotional intensity characteristic of acrylic on stretched canvas.
