This work presents a composition of flowing, gestural forms in vibrant blues, purples, and warm accents. Luminous white passages suggest movement and energy across the square canvas, whilst deep blue grounds create atmospheric depth. The epoxy medium allows for fluid interactions between colours, creating a sense of organic, almost geological formations—perhaps suggesting landscapes or water in flux. Ruth’s 2016 painting demonstrates the expressive possibilities inherent in resin-based media.
