Nadia Huliciarova
Has been a lover of the Arts from a very young age, where she occupied herself with painting, drawing and even sculpture. She decided to focus more on art in High School and later established it as her career path when she joined the first-year Basic Art course offered by Tshwane University of Technology. Here, she specialised in Graphic design, later obtaining her Bachelors Degree. Nadia also travelled abroad to the USA, where she took a few computer art courses in Chicago, Illinois. The following several years after returning to South Africa, she delved a little in interior design, and then returned to her true passion: Fine Art. Nadia’s style is photo-realistic, and her eye for detail is clearly demonstrated expressing the direct influence of her Graphic Design training. She loves to draw anything “alive” as she always finds it a challenge to capture the emotions or thoughts behind the eyes of her subject. “I believe everything has a personality, and that the eyes are truly ‘windows to the soul’.” Her favourite medium is Ball-point Pen, because she feels it gives her an even greater drive in the pursuit for perfection. She currently resides in Hartbeespoort with her husband and two sons, who she believes are her true inspirations not to mention number one supporters.
