MOTIVATED FOR THE FUTURE
I was born on the 2nd of August 1974 went to school here in Harare and finished my secondary education at Lord Malvern High School in 1991 where I did art as a subject and also developed a passion and love for the arts, l am a self-taught artist, did self-researches and made use of the national Gallery library when I was younger that was during the year of 1995 I them went to the Harare polythech where I did screen printing and obtained a certificate in that discipline. I started painting professionally and selling my work in the later part of 1995 through the National Gallery. My first exhibition was in 1996 at Wawana gallery Mastritch in the Netherlands.
I Have works in private collections in Zimbabwe, England, America, Japan, China, Belgium, Canada, South Africa, Holland, Germany and Botswana.
I am the first born in a family of five boys am married and have 2 children namely Namatai a boy who is 6 years and Makatendeka a girl who is 2 years. I am a Christian and most of my life is centred on that. I am also an evangelist and cell group leader at our local church. My other love is farming and just being around nature.
My most memorable moment was when I was given the opportunity to hold an exhibition at the shades of Africa gallery and being invited to Spain the following year by the Spanish ambassador who officiated the exhibition
