Marianne Voster is a farm girl who grew up and matriculated in the Aliwal North district in the Eastern Cape. Her creativity has always formed part of her being and after finishing school, she immersed herself in the world of art and drama. After four years of studies she qualified as a teacher and her creative thoughts kept on flowing during her training in the development of each childs creative thoughts and abilities.
Although she is a fulltime artist for the last 12 years, she still visits schools often to motivate children and parents to develop the gifts inside each of them.
Her main medium
Is acrylic and her canvases are filled with an abundance of colour. An undeniable energy and love flows through each piece, yet one cannot help but experience a sense of calmness and tranquillity when viewing her work.
My inspiration… Karoo tranquillity.. children… colour and rhythm of words!
